Has anyone here heard the Star Fox character voices in Brawl?  If you haven't, then here's a bit of info for you:  THEY SUCK!  Fox sounds okay, but Slippy and Krystal are messed up, Falco and Wolf don't sound anything like they're suppossed to (as in, what they sound like in 64, Adventures, and Assault), and Peppy's is the worst of all!  It isn't even remotely close to what he's suppossed to sound like!!  I just hope they don't use these voices in the next Star Fox game.

Does anyone here who plays a bunch of Star Fox know what I'm talking about?  Also, I'm curious, as I haven't heard them yet:  what do Leon and Panther sound like in Brawl?

I much prefer the 64 voices over the Brawl voices, they just seemed to fit the character more.

These are DEFINITLY not the Assault voices:  in Brawl, Falco sounds like he's got a painfully fake New Jersey accent, and Wolf sounds like he's black!

NOTE:  I have NOTHING against blacks or people from New Jersey, it's just that these characters' voices in other games fit them much much better.

This thread isn't going anywhere. As a true Star Fox fan, I can say that only one voice disappointed me (asides from Wolf, but I heard it was a last minute actor) and that was Peppy. Leon and Panther were great, Fox seemed right, and Falco's, although not what we are used to, fit.

Fox, truly, sounds like a stereotypical homosexual in Brawl.

The only time I think he should sound like that is when he dies, because that's how he sounded in SF64, which was one of the greatest SF games I've ever played, excluding the entire Barrel Roll thing.

I believe a majority of them were voiced by the same actors from their previous games. I know Fox, Falco, Krystal, and Wolf were all voiced by their Assault actors. I liked how older Peppy sounded, and how Slippy's voice was still high but not too high. I was really impressed with Leon's voice. He still had that "chameleon tone," but it was less scratchy and sounded more natural.

When I first heard Fox, I was "lolwtf?" It caught me unawares, as he said "FIRE!" instead of "HIYA!" And his voice got higher pitched. >_>
