You know how some Nintendo games have Downloadable content? Like Professor Layton, Picross DS, etc;

Well, it really doesn't download the new content off of Nintendo's servers. All of the DLC is programmed into the game and downloading only unlocks it.

This was found out when some guy hacked Professor Layton and found the "DLC" puzzles in the code, waiting to be unlocked.

This is both funny and disappointing.

No, the DLC for Professor Layton and Picross DS.

I don't have those games, so I don't know what you are talking about. Is Nintendo faking the DLC?

They SAID you download content through their servers.

In reality, the content is already on the cart, connecting to their servers just unlocks it.

But you actually do connect to their servers, right? You just don't actually download things?

I don;t think Nintendo has the server power for that.

Case in point...
SSBB

I think it's even harder to put it in the game...

Until it is unlocked, it just takes up space.
