Part 1: Lead & Steel

The universe had existed once before in another form.  But the most advanced race of that universe had created a form of infinite energy which lead to interplanetary war and devastated all forms of life.  In the end Someone used the Energy (Now referred to as the Relic) to implode the universe in on itself in order to cease the war and essentially reset the entire universe.

All that remained of the previous universe was the Relic.  Anyway life began anew.  The universe began to re-expand and planets were formed, you know how the cosmos unfolds.  At any rate our world was the nexus point for the previous universes collapse and as such the world is not only a mystical intersection from which magic and various other realms are connected but also the resting place of the Relic.

The fact that our world is pretty much a magic powder keg also grants numerous people with certain abilities.  I'm talking Witches, Mutants, super geniuses, and any other from of freak with unnatural power.  Now to get to the main point.

Vladimir Rook is a Scientist. He specializes in Weapons Research, Genetic engineering, Biological Augmentation, and Physics.  His Best friend is Kieko Masters a Dark Witch with mastery over Fire, Earth, and Dimensional Magics.  Anyway Vlad and Kieko steal Vlad's Family's fortune and flee to another country so Vlad can start up his own illegal research facility to find a way to rule the world.  Along the way to acquiring money and parts for their Lab Vlad and Kieko come across information about the Relic and soon wind up traveling across dimensional borders to multiple Realms seeking this source of infinite power.

However Vlad's actions don't go unnoticed as he is targeted by three different military organizations.  At any rate eventually Vlad and Kieko nearly die on several occasions not to mention that Vlad get's his left arm cut off and Kieko actually does die at one point and Vlad brings her back from the dead.  In the end Vlad and Kieko acquire the Relic and use it Power a Spaced based weapon of unparalleled destructive power called the Zero Weapon.  This flawless construction of Technology/Magic alerts another species from another planet. They try to take over the world, Vlad,  Kieko and all assorted Mutant heroes, Magicians, Mad Scientists team up with the militarys of the world to prevent domination.

So anyway Vlad and Kieko go into hiding because despite the fact that they saved the world because their still wanted for attempted world domination, crimes against nature and humanity (Genetically Engineering your own cyborg army is illegal), Inter dimensional travel, and inciting a war by creating unprecedented technology.  Also the Relic was destroyed when Vlad had the Zero
Weapon self-destruct.

As serious as a comic about a Mad Scientist and his Dark Witch Girlfriend traveling through various magical realms to unearth a mystical source of infinite energy in order to rule the world while at the same time battling the undead, ninja, Samurai, robots, mutants, aliens, soldiers, and at one point an ancient Demonic Overlord who's body has been morphed into a small girl and striped of his magic: can be.

As serious as a comic about a Mad Scientist and his Dark Witch Girlfriend traveling through various magical realms to unearth a mystical source of infinite energy in order to rule the world while at the same time battling the undead, ninja, Samurai, robots, mutants, aliens, soldiers, and at one point an ancient Demonic Overlord who's body has been morphed into a small girl and striped of his magic: can be.

I say go for it, sounds interesting.

Of course that's only Part 1: Lead & steel.

Part 2: Sword of War, deals with a genetically engineered soldier equipped with a blade that can make him immortal if he finds the last piece.  It follows his missions as he's manipulated into killing off various world leaders in order to allow a secret military organization to push legislation that helps them more easily control the public.

Without going to much into what happens the premise of Part 2 leads to the permise of Part 3: The Legendary Hero which takes place in what could only be described as a ****** up world.
