Anime used to be called Japanimation in the USA? :D

I never heard anyone call it anime until the original Sailor Moon/Dragon Ball Z dubs stopped airing.

I remember before it was called Japanimation, I used to call it Japanese Animation.

Then it all just squished together.

lol, I remember... I was like 7 or 8, when I stopped hearing Japanimation, and like 10 when I started hearing Anime. Make more topics right now!

No, I don't remember. I watched DBZ, and then after that was over, I was done with anime for a long time, until for some odd reason I started watching .hack/Legend.

when i was little i just thought if it as cartoons. Now i see it as anime and manga, though i do hear people call it Japanimation surprisingly quite ofter XD
