Animal Crossing Wii is now confirmed to come out this December.

In Japan at least.  :(

I wonder if it will be an MMO like it was rumored to be....

I think Nintendo confirmed it themselves.

Like anyone would really be playing an Animal Crossing MMO 5 years from now.

Besides, with WoW, its followers, expansions, etc, it's become extremely difficult for any MMO to actually develop a solid active fanbase.

Yes, there is Guild Wars, but the gimmick with that is that there's no monthly fee.

I would lol if that happened. But that would be really gay. You would be like: "Where the hell is everyone?" I think I would actually like if it was a MMO - with no friend codes (friend codes are intercourse ing gay). I would have to try it out first though.

What is an MMO?
It means Massively Multiplayer Online game.

Like World of Warcraft.
