I'm utterly stressed at the moment, and I have an essay due in less than 5 hours. 

Now, I can usually whip up an essay in less time, and I usually get a very decent grade on them.  Shit, usually the essays are 2 pages, tops. 

I need to define a person, place, thing or idea that many people have a misconception of.

...My brain is somewhere else at the moment, and I cant think of a intercourse ing thing to write about.

I'd write about video games, but I did that in my last essay, and I do not want to appear as a simple person. 

But I cant think of a darn think for the life of me..

Could anyone suggest something?
