What time does your school start?

Mine starts at 8:20.

But I usually get there at 7:50 :P

We start at 8:55 and we get out at 3:20.

I start at 8:00, but others start at 9:00 (crappy scheduling system they implemented this year... screws over any extracurricular activities whatsoever).  those who start at 8 generally end at or before 3, and those who start at 9 end at or before 4.

jazz band used to be at 8:00 in the morning second semester (runs every day first semester), and now we have to have it at 4:00 after school...

four and a half hours after a few of us are done school. :|

it also screws over job opportunities, because you can't work in that dead time, it messes with sports, and people can only be there for half of the class, it messes with jobs people already have, and half of us can only be there half of the time.

it's ridiculous.

I have a job, and managed to do most of my extra-curricular activities.  Classes end at 3:20, then you have the after-school period til 4:05.  Then again, I didn't waste my time with sports, so I have no idea how long practices ran until.

our community is very intwined with extracurricular activities though, and if you aren't, you have a job.

it just pisses me off, because if I didn't have jazz band two of the five days of the week (tied up another day until 4 because of piano) I would easily have a job by now because of how early I get off of school. :|

Depends on the day and the term.

This term, 9:20 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I have Tuesday off.
