Let's start from the beginning...

I had Firefox 2.0.0.12, doing fine and all, everything worked fine. Then one day, Firefox said "Hey, Olimar! 2.0.0.13 just came out, wanna update?"

Sure, I thought.

"Hold on just a second, this might screw around with your add-ons and such. Are you sure?"

Yeah, whatever. That's what you said last time and nothing happened.

So I upgrade to 2.0.0.13, and suddenly, everything but AdBlock and some other Add-on that I forgot to uninstall were the only things that worked. My theme didn't even work. So I was pretty much thinking "FUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK" because I don't have ANYTHING useful except AdBlock.

The next day, my theme got updated, and evidently everything else was ready for an update an hour later, so I'm like "kay, you guys can upgrade."

"Thanks, Olimar! You need to restart Firefox, alright?"

Alright, whatever. I move my mouse down to where the "Restart Firefox" button is, but it's grayed out. So I was thinking "WTF? I can't restart Firefox!" So I did what I used to do when I didn't realize that there was a button down there. I went to Task Manager and killed the process. Normally, that works fine and dandy. For some unknown reason, it didn't! So I'm more ticked off than usual, then I just thought "Ugh, fine, whatever. I can live without Download Statusbar and ForecastFox until another update for an add-on comes out. Then I can restart Firefox!"

So, about 10 minutes before I started posting this, I was browsing through here, when Firefox pipes up again.

"Hey Olimar! 2.0.0.14 came out! Wanna install and restart? This time, we'll update your add-ons too!"

And it did, oh it did! But of course, Firefox needed to be restarted to install the updates! So, once again, I was left out in the cold.

So, out of pure annoyance, I did something that I did once before with Warcraft II, and it worked. With Warcraft II, some file got corrupted, so I couldn't uninstall via CD. So I just went into program files and deleted the folder :P. I reinstalled, and it worked fine.

Well, Mozilla must hate me. I go to redownload Firefox, and their darned download servers are down! UGH

So yeah, I'm stuck with IE7 for God knows how long.

I don't even know what the hell happened to Firefox. Everyone else seems to be fine with the updates. I just clicked "Update" and ignored the "WOAH DUDE UR ADD-ONS" like I normally do, because it normally means nothing. And now nothing works.

So yeah, I'm mad off, annoyed, sad, etc.

OH YAY, I REDOWNLOADED FIREFOX

BUT FIREFOX IS TOO SMART

Yeah, AFTER deleting the Folder, I'm guessing everything that I had had, Firefox evidenltly stored it somewhere so that in case I ever feel like redownloading it, I don't have to go through and reinstall all those add-ons!

WHAT THE HELL!

I know this isn't Firefox's fault, otherwise everyone else with DownloadStatus bar or DownthemAll! would have had the same problem as I do. I have no clue what I could have done to make Firefox do this, so yeah. Until I get Ubuntu (Which will be in around a week), I'm stuck with IE7, because Firefox A. Looks horrid, and I can't live without DownloadStatusbar -_-

Sorry to hear about that. I don't really trust upgrading of stuff unless I really know what it will do

Oh yay, I get to add to the story about how Firefox remembers too much.

It must. I thought Firefox was supposed to be the best. My school's the only place that I know uses it

Firefox has NEVER, EVER intercourse ed up like this. I still love it, but it is DEFINETLY something I did. Hell, I abide by this quote. "Anything done on a computer is your fault. A computer can't function without a user."

That is true. But there is a possibility of it working on its own if you got a virus from someone that caused it to. But overall that, your right.

Try Opera. :B
I did. It just doesn't have the same feel as Firefox does.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good Browser, but I just prefer Firefox, even after this.

This boy has a few screws loose. I suggest you take his advice, drown it in a deep, dark well, and then do the same to him.

Doodle

Well that sucks.

I upgraded my Firefox and it worked fine. But I don't have any ad ons or anything. :P
YEAH

Download 3beta5:

Your skins probably won't work, but Addblock Plus, Download Statusbar, And Video DownloadHelper all work fine.
