So, I finally decided to stop playing video games as a major hobby. Over the past year, I really have become detached from the whole thing. I've been buying a bunch of new games recently, trying to find something thats interesting or worthwhile, but I can never sustain interest with it for very long. Brawl, while I'll admit, was probably the best wii game I played, I just recently sold it because its really not all that fun anymore after the first 2 or 3  weeks. Hype is what kept me playing. I dunno. Anybody else feel that games today don't feel like how they did a few years ago?

Games can never be the same. Gaming companies are all about money and getting more of it from the morons.

I used to play Super Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing, and Windwaker compulsively.

I have yet to find a game where I can literally play for years and not get bored, except maybe Team Fortress 2.

Most games are run by hype now a days, I guess.

Yeah. Most games are the same thing too, just with minimal enhancements.

Everyone is after money these days.

Same here, I rarely play newer games now, so I just stick with old school gaming.

I don't plan video games much at all anymore.

I can relate... I don't have the time, and when I do, I don't have the will to get going with it.

I don't think I've beaten a single Wii game... except for Resident Evil 4 and that was months ago.

I'm just not connecting as much anymore.  I'm still getting a few new games here or there but it's just like a flavor of the week kinda thing and not after too long it just sits there on the shelf.

I haven't touched my Wii for a month or so...you guys take up way too much of my time to play video games, and I don't really regret it :P

I am the same way.

SSBB is different everytime you play it!
Thank goodness for it being online.

The replay value is nearly infinite.
I played SSBB every single day ever since it came out and I enjoyed every second of it.

Win's and losses.

Ever since I started using the internet, i've been gaming less and less. I just don't find many games fun anymore, and i'm not sure if its my fault or the companies for not making them as fun anymore.

Hero_Of_Time1

How is that possible?!
I replay favorites.
I beaten OOT and MM atleast 15 times.
I recently rekindled my love with GH2/3 and Rock Band. I gave up playing when I finished career on hard.
I'm playing Mass Effect  for the 3rd time this time asa biotic(sp?)

But then again, as Red pointed out to me. It depends on the replay value.
I love games, I always will. Now that I got money to buy games whenever I choose I don't think I've ever stop.

I don't know how I find time to play. I lose sleep because of games and it doesn't bother me. I've learned how to survive on 5 hours of sleep. <333

Gamer for life, mang.
