So apparently there was an earthquake.

I was asleep when it happened, but it was a 5.2 on the Richter scale and there was an aftershock about an hour ago.

When was the last time an earthquake occurred in your area?

We are pretty far inland, but we are one of the only places where you can get an earthquake this far from the sea because we have two massive faults.

There was one up near Daytona Beach about 20 years ago, but that's it.
Also, if this is anything like the last time there were earthquakes that big out there, there should be a stronger one within a month or so. D:

All I remember is waking up to my bedroom shaking, and my dad telling me it was an earthquake.
