MOTHER 3 came out two years ago today, according to Starmen.net.

Fans are still working on translating the game, all the while Nintendo briefly acknowledges them and gets on their way.

Maybe they will release it on WiiWare....

Also, interesting fact. A group of MOTHER fans raised over 7400 DOLLARS for publicity of the game to Nintendo of America.  :O

We can hope.  I doubted it when I first read that, since Ness was in the SSB series since the beginning, but now since I remembered Lucas, there's a chance.  We can hope for the DS, bringing the games that made it to the US to the VC and Mother 3 and any other Mother/Earthbound games that did not make it to the US on a DS Card.  I was HOPING that Rare would do that with DKC1-3 and make a 4th, but it's highly improbable now :'(

Bolded wasn't the point of my post, rather the second line in yours.  I mean, with the Mother fans in North America, plus the others who heard of Ness from SSB and have yet to try a game would LOVE to pick that up.

The official or fan-made?

The fanmade will probably be done by July.

The official one will be announced around E3, if we're lucky.

Probably in a Mother 1+2+3 compilation.
