I already know sign laungauge, and losing sight means you have to depend on other people a lot more than losing your hearing.

Definitely 2. I use sight WAY more than hearing. I can't do anything that I do now without vision.

Well, theres hearing aids and stuff... My dad can listen to music real loud and hes deaf. There are ways to work around it.

That's not loss of hearing, it's partial deafness.
Loss of hearing means that you can't hear ANYTHING at all. Your eardrums don't work at all anymore.
