The Phantom of Maple Circle [Mystery RP]

[THEBIRD]

Mary clicked her tongue as she thought about the answer to that question. "Well... We're a small town. I'm sure Generally Open sells magnifying glasses, ink, and things like that. It wouldn't be as high tech as what the police nowadays have... But you could possibly get somewhere with it, right?"

A man in his late 30's with spiky black hair and green eyes with a lively smile came to greet Nick. He was wearing black pants, a white polo and an orange apron over it that said 'Generally Open'. "Hello and welcome to Generally Open!" Michael Stone greeted. "I'm the only employee here, so if you have any questions, just ask me."

[Max Headroom]

"That should be good enough. Say, could you record my data on your blog? It may help the other detectives who might stumble upon the site."

[Dr.Hobo2]

"Ah, I do have some questions to ask you." Nick said walking up to the front counter. "You do sell sleeping pills here, right?"

[THEBIRD]

"We sell generally everything," Michael replied. "Why, are you having trouble sleeping? If it's because of that certain someone, we all understand. I could give you a discount, if you'd like."

Mary nodded. "Sure, I can record everything. Just give me the info, and I'll write it down. Plus, if I find something you didn't know, you can always check the blog."

[Dr.Hobo2]

Hm...certain someone? Nick's curiosity got the best of him. "I only come here for Octorber. Who is this...certain someone?"

[Max Headroom]

"Alright, thanks. I'll go to the store and get what I need to perform the test." Mira said, as he started on his way to Generally Open.

[THEBIRD]

(( I decided I'd actually make Mary's blog XD. It's under clues, if that matters. ))

"You know... Well, if you don't know... The Mayor would be mad if I scared off people with the story," Michael said nervously. "Everyone would, we need tourists this season for money."

A dark shadow followed slowly behind Mira as he left the hotel.

Mira detected something and stopped walking. He turned around to see what he was detecting.

[Dr.Hobo2]

"Wait...is this certain someone the Phantom?" Nick said. Well...I should have seen that one comeing.

[THEBIRD]

No one was there, but a shadow on the ground behind Mira led into an alley between Maple Hotel and the shop next door.

"Oh, yes well, the Phantom, too," Michael replied, getting nervous. "It's good that you know about the Phantom yet haven't left town. And who I was talking about isn't quite as bad. Of course, I would never offer sleeping pills to someone who was having trouble sleeping because of the Phantom. I would tell them they should stay awake! Who knows when it'll come out and attack?"

[Dr.Hobo2]

And...maybe I didn't see it coming. "Oh, so the Phantom isn't that person. Who is he...or she?"

[Max Headroom]

"If you're there, show yourself." Mira said, trying to determine what he detected.

[THEBIRD]

"It's himm" Michael said, rolling his eyes at the thought. "The annoying kid who claims he's the phantom, goes out and keeps everyone awake at night, it started a couple months ago. But anyway, he's our other shame, besides the Phantom of course."

A pebble skipped across Mira's feet, coming from somewhere in the shadows of the Maple Hotel. Other than that, nothing.

Mira took the pebble and threw it back where it came from.

"Ah, so it's just a little kid." Nick said. A kid wouldn't have any useful information about this. "Say, did a woman come in here three days ago and get some sleeping pills?"
