Man, something really bad just happened. My dad was mowing the lawn today, and the plate protecting our water pipe got stuck in the mower. So now our mower is busted. That's $600 down the drain. And we need a new plate for our pipes.

Pity my father. :<

That's me. :D ^

That's my least favorite slang word.

It makes anyone who says it sound like a hick.

Kaz

My mom did the same thing to an old pushmower.

As if "hick" isn't just as bad.

I don't even really call them hicks.

What we call them here could be confused for a name of a resident of Indiana.

Ouch. Also, I don't use " busted" anymore. It's hard to give up " snuck", though.

No, it makes sound uneducated... Also you complain too much about the words people tend to say, also I think I need to go find my Beatles DISK, whoops I mean disc.

Anyways, it is a different situation but... My dad was drilling through a wall, so seeing the idiot he tends to be, he drilled through a water pipe. It ended up flooding the floor of my room, though nothing was damaged.

It's not my fault that Missourians developed a distaste for residents of Indiana in the late 19th century.
