ok.....where do i start :|

ok first of all, My Wii is setup with the TV in the living room, but the probelm is that if your going to play and the Wii with a Gamecube controller you have to be very....very...very...very carful for three reasons:
1. We have a Dog, meaning that he could trip over the wires
2. for that reason ^ you have to keep the wires low
3. don't pull on the wires >:(

well....friday night, I had a friend over, 4 people were playing mario kart wii at once. I was useing the Wii Wheel (I don't let any one else use it, due to the Golden Wii Wheel) My brother was useing the classic controller (another wireless controller) Then my friend and my sister were useing Gamecube controllers....

Were all playing...Then the dog comes back from his walk (he's a small dog [Puggle]) And i pause the game and gently push the wire from the gamecube controller that my sister is useing and tell her "keep the cord down" she doesn't listen to me for 5 seconds then does what i told her to do...then the dog passes by us then after 1 minute...then dog comes back...and my sister has forgoten what i told her...and the dog runs into the her cord to the Wii and launches (or pulls) the Wii out from behind the glass doors and makes the wii go back to the welcome screen for MK Wii and puts a nice little nick on the side of the wii from the PS2.

what a night :(
(sorry about the long read)

Bad luck ol chap...

Dose your wii still work?I would be mad at my sister and my dog if they did that to me.
But they cant for 3 reasons:
1:My wii is in my room.
2:my wii is on top of my dresser
3:my dog hates my room(kind of cramp...)

Wii still works, thank goodness.

heres my answer to your reasons.
1. That could happen soon
2. Wii would be with stereo (pic's soon 8))
3. Dogs not alowed upstairs. (althought he comes up here and there, i don't let him in my room)

Yes, 'cause I'm sure that the dog was plotting to knock over his Wii the whole time.  :|

I have a similar problem:
I have two dogs; a big Black Lab whose tail is a lethal weapon, and a Bassett Hound, who, being so close to the ground and not the most agile of creatures, trips over anything and everything.  And since they've each knocked over the Wii and the Gamecube, I put a baby gate up when I don't want them in the middle of whatever I'm doing.  I have to use a tall one, though, because, believe it or not, the Basset Hound (her name is Ruby Sue) will jump over the smaller gates, and the Lab (her name is Lucy) won't even attempt it, LOL.

Anyway, glad nothing was seriously damaged :)
