Do your own homework.
I knew someone would post that.

The question is "To what extent did the measures of the New Deal reflect a coherent economic philosophy", but I can't answer that if I don't know what the heck coherent economic philosophy is.

Geez, I am doing my own homework.  I asked for the definition of a phrase that I can't find the definition of.

I TRIED google.  It was no help.  That's why I'm asking NSF.  I only ask real people for help as a last resort.

From Wikipedia:

"Some argue early Islamic theory and practice formed a "coherent" economic system with "a blueprint for a new order in society, in which all participants would be treated more fairly".

Is that it?

I'm pretty sure that "coherent economic philosophy" refers to an economic plan or at least ideal of sorts that has a logical pattern.
