I'm going to be honest and admit I'm horrid at math. The big problem I have I can't keep track of complex equations, and next year I'm going to be in Algebra. Right now I probably have a D in math. I'm more of an English/History person. Anyone else terrible at math?

Tupin

Me, but I at least get an A-/B+.

I get all A's in Math.

2x+7-14=13x3.
  x=24.

I can do basic equations like

2(x+7)=8

but not

2x+18=16-4(x+7)

Light

@JNeed: That's not a complex equation.

I got A's in Math the first three quarters, but I'm getting a B this quarter. D: Still, I find I'm better at math than most people in my class.

@ZGDK:

2x+18=16-4x+28
2x+18=(-4x)+44
6x+18=44
6x=26
x=26/6
Holy crap all my sigs were always poop. Best leave this space alone.

I hate not having Pre-Algabra until the fall.

Ah, you're not the only one who's terrible at mathematics.  I've aced all of my classes but I'm probably going to get my first B in this semester's math course... =(  the Gauss-Jordan Method, Kramer's Rule, and all of those are the death of me.

The thing is this is Pre-Algebra x_x how I'll ever survive next year. Part of the problem is my math teacher isn't the greatest at explaining things in detail.

I suck at math horribly...like really really really bad....

Ah, yes.  The teacher plays a very important role when learning math, and when he/she isn't teaching well, that poses a problem =(  Because I take my class online, I have a similar problem, since most of it is self-teaching.

Nevertheless, if you need any help with some equations, feel free to ask =P  Specifically, what do you struggle with?

I'm bad at math, but after studying for a while, I can understand it, and pull out an A.

I hate it, though, it's a useless subject and it's boring.

I know I'm gonna flunk algebra. I have to make 165 problems out of the problems we did in class. The problem is that I've been sick for three days and he won't give us make up work. That bastard. >_>

Wow, I'm like the EXACT opposite of that.  My best classes are Math and Science, but despite still getting good grades and understanding English and history well, most of the stuff in those classes are boring (although, we don't have a true history class in 9th grade, but whatever...).  I particularly think english is boring, and the only history I truly like is military history, which isn't all that surprising if you know me well enough.  I can be a bit of a military guy.

It's far from useless.  You'd be surprised how many jobs require a good background in math.  Or jobs that reqire math in general.  Even a DJ needs to know his math.

Hi

Try calculus and fail.

Math is just one little important thing you will use for the rest of your life so get over it.
