This upcoming weekend, or this last one we had?

This last one wasn't, at least for Wisconsin, but Memorial Day is next monday, so it is a long one this coming up weekend.
I'm from Wisconsin too. :O

We would have had an off day this Friday, but all the snow that we had means that we have to make up our snow days, which means we do have school on Friday... No school next Monday though. :-D
Here in Iowa we need to go to June 3rd after one of the worst winters we've had in a few years.  It was the coldest, and wettest winter on a long time and yet they say global warming exists.  Hah!
What the hell is global warming?

It's the suppossed gradual "warming" of the atmosphere over the years due to the greenhouse gases (such as carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide) we are suppossedly releasing in too large of quantities "trapping too much sunlight".

My explaination of it goes to show I highly doubt it's existence.  I'm greatly skeptical of it.

I also don't agree with global warming, but its a good excuse to make people go a little "green"

It's happening, but not as bad as Al Gore says it is.

The main evidence that supports Global Warming is the fact that a steep rise in worldwide temperature started at the beginning of the Industrial Revolutions in America and the United Kingdom.

Then eventually the natural convection currents in the ocean will stop and the world will go into an ice age, which this cycle goes on every 10,000 to 15,000 years and sometimes once every 20,000 years.  It's not the global warming half (the insane half) of the environmentalists say it is.

We've been due for an Ice Age for quite a while now. I'm not saying that the Industrial Revolution and the temperature rising was a coincidence, I'm saying that the Industrial Revolution happened at such a time where we were due that Humans were giving a little nudge nudge wink wink and all the dirty stuff.

Global Warming not only causes hotter summers, but much colder winters too.  It results in more extreme weather in general, so really you're only reinforcing that the planet is warming.  It's not as simple as "lol the planet gets hotter and so does everything" as so many people seemingly thinks.

What city do you live in?
West Des Moines (practially the largest suburb of Des Moines).

It's true for pretty much the entire state.

Especially center & northwestern areas.  They were hit worst.

One time the entire Des Moines metroid (curse my metroid obsession) metroid (NOT AGAIN!) metro (finally!) area coated in ice, which translated into NO ONE leaving the house, and if anyone had to, they were advised to drive at only 5-10 MPH...

And don't say that.  Our football team went undefeated in state.  Unless we had a loss I didn't hear about...
