Adventures or Assault?

Many think Adventures was too different, too easy, etc. but I still liked it, it was very unique, and has a place in my heart.

Assault was a nice step back to the original(s), but was a little.....eh. I can't decide, so, your guys' votes are gonna help me decide which is best (by the way, I own both, and both are proudly displayed in my game cabinet.)

Java

I wasn't a big fan of Adventures.
Just wasn't what I liked about Star Fox.

Also, for some reason I got lost and I didn't know what to do so I quite playing altogether. :\

I haven't played Assault...well I played one of those demos at Target.
I'd probably say Assault if it's closer to the 64 version.

I'm torn. At first I had issues with Adventures, but after I replayed it, it found a place in my heart as well. I hated the fact you hardly stepped in the Arwing, however. It felt so different to me.

Assault is my personal favorite, when it comes to gameplay. But overall, it sucked for one reason and one reason alone; IT WAS TOO F***ING SHORT! I was addicted to it, but you can beat it in 2 hours or less if you have time. They also screwed up with the unlockable Xevious. It should've been the original SNES Star Fox instead. But it's my second favorite out of the series.

Assult was WAAAY too short, and if a game is THAT short I wont even enjoy it at all!

Gwen Khan

I liked both, but assault felt more like a Starfox game

Dark Dragon

i only played the demo of adventures.

i say adventures

(and it the part where you fight as krystal on a flying dino againest the flying castle)

Assault is great because it goes back to the original gameplay in the Arwing, but it is too short.

Honestly, I enjoyed Star Fox OUT of the Arwing.  That's why I enjoyed Adventures so much.  It had a good story along with cool planets and gameplay.  Yay staffs. :P  The game was great, 'nuff said.

extraz

neither of them were that good, they can't top SF64

Let's change this tide with 3 annoying words.

Test of Fear.

Neerb

I don't recall what Test of Fear is, but I played both games and let me say this:
Assault=best starfox evah!!!  If only it was longer...  :(

thunderhero4

Qsmash

I liked Starfox Assault better, but (you've seen this before) it was too short.

Lohn Jocke

Owned (And Hacked) Both. Adventure was the best. To Starfox Assault, I didn't care for the shortness (I've seen Shorter) It's the entire concept. Lemme tell you, I'm not a big fan of Flying Shooters.

Rayquarian

I liked Adventures.  I didn't expec an action-packed space shooter, so I was easily able to enjoy it.

X-3

Both games could have been better, but I liked Assualt a lot more than Adventures. Adventures' staff concept was rather lame, and the on-foot gameplay just felt...slow compared to other games. Assualt had three types of gameplay: arwing was fun, Landmaster was okar, and on-foot was poor, but better than Adventures'.

Also, Adventures' plot sucked. Hard. They basically had to explain everything at the end just so the player didn't say, "wut". At least Assualt tried to have a more original story/bad guy. Though, it had quite the Hollywood ending...(EVEN THE SICK ORPHAN IS ALIVE GUYZ)
