Good PS games?

Just regular PS games. I wanna know what would be good to play, I only have mostly PS2 games.

Actually, I disagree. The PS2 had a crapload of potential, and out of the Gamecube, X-Box, PS2 era, the PS2 had a far bigger variety of games with more geners, and was my favorite of the three. At least, in my opinion.

Try finding the special 3-pack of the Spyro games.  Those first 3 were without question the best, especially the third one.

All the FF games on the ps1 rock to an ultimate hardcoreness (heh, heh like that?) But if your not a Final Fantasy fan...Hmm I don't know. The only other ps game I have played is Spyro.

Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot 1-3, Spyro 1-3, PaRappa, UmJammerLammy, Blasto, Gex, Ready 2 Rumble, Crash Team Racing, and Bomberman World.

I got 2 PSX games you ight be interested in that have not been mentioned yet:

Bushido Blade (The first one. #2 was not all that good)

Xenogears





Bushido Blade is a fighting game that is more realistic in terms of how kills and damage works than most other fighting games. No life bars. Only a well placed hit will kill the opponent. Forget about combos, they will not help out all that much. Even though you hit your opponent 1000 times, if they hit you in the right place once, you will be the dead one. Take out a leg and the opponent will have to fight kneeling for the rest of the fight. take out the free hand and they can't use cheep tricks. Combat changes depending on your condition. Several stages are multi-tier and you can climb from one tier to the next.

Xenogears is by far one of Square Enix's best non-Final Fantasy RPG. Not to mention the most enjoyable one I've seen since FF 8.

Why the hell has no one mentioned Suikoden I & Suikoden II? Probably two of the best RPGs of the PSX era. They even rival The final fantasy series! plus the 108 characters you can get, most of which are fighters is just amazing! one thing to say, you have to get the suikoden games.

Oh yeah, and Croc and Croc 2. Great platformers that nobody knew about 8)
