Cool. HPs are rather nice, though I'd still rather have a MacBook.

Screen size sucks, processor sucks, video memory sucks, and it's a laptop.

Congrats on that gross waste of money.
wth are your standards
He doesn't buy pre-built PCs, that's all I know.
People that do buy pre-built deserve a slap in the face, they all suck, but for a laptop its not bad.

I buy pre-built PCs, but I buy a lot more RAM and a different graphics card, among other things.

If you can do that much, you're better off just buying everything else and putting it together yourself.

It was good until I read that it had Vista, get at least XP on a dual boot...or just simply go to XP
XP won't recognize 4 GB of ram.

No 32Bit OS can reconize past 4GB of RAM. XP 64 Can as far as I know.

I have, for quite a while.

It really isn't that bad as everyone says.

Well I have a problem even with XP, so Vista is even worse, hence I use Linux

The only complaint I have with Vista would be.... wall, was, the totally different layout of the GUI.

Once you use it for 2 hours a day, its like a Translucent version of XP >>

Everything...
Explorer will crash all the time, Mozilla and Pidgin both don't work well in Windows, it has issues connecting to the internet, it takes FOREVER to do anything(or compared to Linux Forever), login takes like 5 min, turns off randomly(usually when I'm sleeping or at school), is open to annoying viruses/ad-ware, its not open to be modified if there is a problem, it needs retarded drivers to notice something in USB, and the most annoying thing about it, it thinks it knows better than I do.....like WHAT FUCKING HARD DRIVE TO FORMAT!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Ummm, I resent that, I discovered that people that have have tones of software installed on Windows, it will become unstable and just have a melt down, and then very similar problems will show up.

I have loads of programs on mines, and the only one I know that gives me problems is my USB Access Point, because the Driver I had to modify isn't very stable.
