Itunes Help

Whenever I put songs on my ipod, the songs will transfer to my ipod, but wont show up under the artist. Sometimes I have to put the artist in, don't know if this makes a difference. Any idea how to fix this?

It sounds like your metatags on the files are screwed up. Are you buying the songs off iTunes, ripping them from a CD, downloading them...?

If they aren't labeled in iTunes, then they won't be labeled on your iPod.

That explains it, you don't buy off of iTunes, so there won't be information or album artwork to go along with it.

There are programs that go online and search for the information.
