As for new characters, Shadow Mario (Seperate of Bowser Jr.), Magikoopa, a character from SMRPG (Mallow maybe?) and, maybe, a mini Chain Chomp? 0_o

Well then, what if the acceleration was near the stearing wheel, so that he can steer with one foot and use the accelerator/brake with the other, and use his mouth to throw things. 8)

Generic enemies no one wants to play as...I mean look at Mario Baseball, that was horrible, and unfortunatley Mario Kart is getting that way.
Frankly I wouldn't mind Kirby characters or Pokemon if it meant avoiding this annoyingness...

I wouldn't mind playing as Hammer Bro. and I like Koopa Troopa and Dry Bones.

Mario Kart gives all Mario characters a chance to be in a game where they don't have to be significantly important.

What really irks me is including characters that have never been in a game or Mario game before. Funky Kong isn't a Mario character, but I could live with that. Baby Peach was pointless, but at least she was in Yoshi's Island DS. Dry Bowser is annoying as he's just an alternate costume of Bowser. Then there's Baby Daisy. A Baby clone that has never even been in a game before! What the hell?!
