Best FPS you ever played?

No you may not. I payed 50$ for Orange Box and thoroughly unenjoyed it.

Steam games don't work that way, olol.


Also, TF2 and Portal (it's still an FPS even if it's a puzzle game) are among the best I've played...but I haven't played many FPS games in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, shooters are just as good as any other game, but I really have more fun controlling a hoard of dead dragon thingies over running around not quite aimlessly, but still running around, ducking often and throwing out a frag or two every so often.

Hell, I prefer the memorizing of button combos in most Fighting games over general shooter tactics...

This is the year 2008, not 1988. There's no need for turn-based gameplay.

I've played quite a bit of CoD 4, despite whether I wanted to or not. It just felt like another shooter to me.
