...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

I hate what studio's today have done to animation. I could watch shows like Animaniacs today and catch jokes I missed as a kid cuz they actually tried at being funny instead of mindless dribble and toilet humor. Spongebob was okay cuz it was the first one now that's all animation is.

They went all CGI crazy, really.

I can name several 90's cartoon generic storyboards that were used in practically every cartoon ever.

and they stopped caring about any sort of plot. Just put in whatever jokes will get a cheap laugh and be done with it X_X;;
ugh....

It kind of reminds me of the CN of old...

You know, when all they had was cartoons?

Also, those generic plot lines are:

1. Character wants to buy something, but has no money and must raise it themselves. Hilarity ensues.
2. Character goes on vacation with family/friends and something strange happens. Hilarity ensues.
3. Character has a crush on another character of the opposite sex and tries to impress them. Hilarity ensues.

Just a few, based on all of the cartoons I watched from the 90's.

better than no plot. And I'm not sayin all these are good (some were HORRIBLE) but better than today's stuff.

Batman the Animated Series: OMG my favorite show as a little kid. I think I've seen every episode a million times.
DarkingDuck and Goof Troop: The last time Disney actually tried...now they completely rely on Pixar to make them their money.
Batman Beyond: At least they TRIED...
Sam and Max: I miss good writing in shows in general X_X;;
