64 dollars?  Isn't that too much?

"You've been playing Super Mario Sunshine, haven't you?"

Put some Sonic data on the card for lulz.

I hate eBay. Everyone just uses those programs that make bids at the last possible second. Which is why I prefer Craigslist.

I once was gonna get a Virtual Boy in great condition for $30, but the guy's girlfriend wanted it for her kid, so I couldn't buy it.  >:(

I'll never see one that cheap again...

I don't think I've even went to eBay before... :P
Oh, and isn't that a little much for a Gamecube game? (I think it's a Gamecube game, Snake's Brawl trophy says so... :P)
YEAH

Congrats.
Now get used to the long cutscenes and codec conversations.
If you do, you'll like MGS.

Some people are nuts.

I could get two copies of Persona on the PS1 for that.

Because:
1. I don't have any type of playstation currently.
2. The GameCube one is considered better.
3. I'd rather play the one with better graphics than the one with crappy graphics D:

1. Fix that! D:

2. I'd like to direct you to a comment a "Dustin F." left on the product description page for the PS2 collector's edition on amazon, who is in favor of the original over TS:

"Twin Snakes is decidedly inferior to the Playstation version in every area except for graphics.

The gameplay is far, far worse, since you have all the MGS2 abilities in a much simpler MGS1 world, there's no challenge to the game. The voice acting suffers considerably and is much more hammy. It's non-cannon in some places.

Not to mention that it's not compatible with the Playstation systems without a heavy investment of coding, while the true classic in its original glory just needs to be burned to disc. Don't believe the hype, Twin Snakes is not as good as the real thing just because the graphics are much improved.

If you own a Gamecube, Twin Snakes is a great game to have, but if you don't you aren't missing out by playing the original classic.

I do wish they had altered MGS to save onto PS2 cards. Surely it wouldn't have been that difficult, right?"

I feel oddly inclined to believe he's in the know. >_>

3. I can't help agree about the graphics, but it may be the only redeeming quality it has. =(  Maybe that's just a fanboy, maybe not, but I'd rather play something canon and the way it was meant to be played.. and adding MGS2 abilities into a previous game sounds pretty cheap/odd/off to me..

Tupin

They shouldn't change the gameplay, they should have just updated the graphics and maybe added a few special features.

That's how you make a remake without compromising the original game.

Good job.

Now get MGS2, 3 and 4. ^_^
I need to get the other three games too.

I have a bad feeling that starting the series on the fourth installment was a bad idea. D:
