Considering that Knuckles from Sonic has a bigger article than God himself, I would say yes.

Among other things, you'll see that Metal Gear Solid 4 has a bigger article than War and Peace, Pokemon Trading Cards have a bigger article than Poker, and Call of Duty has a bigger article than World War II.  :D

Then again, it's not so surprising when you consider who's editing wikipedia.

Main game articles are quite good, but god forbid you try to make a separate article about a supporting character. The deletionists will label it as cruft and cut your balls off.

Yeah, I guess so.

If it's a big series, they usually have a separate article for that.

Yeah, "List of Mario series enemies." Goomba used to be a Featured Article, but poop holes chipped away at it with AFD, and now it's been condensed to a tiny 2-paragraph blurb. Vaati doesn't have his own article, the deletionists AFD'd that, as well. Nor does Ridley, also AFD'd.

Final Fantasy is safe because it's a featured series and there are several well-connected people in high places protecting the character articles. See Aeris. See Vincent Valentine. See Sephiroth.

How does a Goomba not deserve its own article?

Dunno, it was a great article. Ask the deletionists. They'll tell you something about it being "cruft" and "unencyclopedic".

Honestly, I think there are well represented. Most of the time I go there.

I would say yes.
That wasn't a yes or no question...

Anyways. Knuckles doesn't needs a page.

They are very well represented I would say. A lot of times when I need some quick info on a certain game, I'll go to Wikipedia.

They condensed each Pokemon's article to a paragraph, which was retarded.

Each one's article told you where to find it in all of the games, height, size, proper name, translated names, etc.

Ah, I forgot perhaps the best example. Still, it's cruft to the exclusionists. DELETEDELETEDELETEDELETE.

meh, I've only had one problem with them...they keep deleting the page "List of Samples used by DJ Sharpnel".  It's been resurrected twice, but I doubt it can be resurrected a third time :(
