I'll be going on two trips soon where I'll have lots of time to play my DS until we get to our destination, so I wanted to get a game to keep me busy until we get to our destination.

I was thinking of getting either New Super Mario Bros or Yoshi's Island DS, but other suggestions are definitely welcome.

I already have Animal Crossing, Mario Kart DS, Brain Age 2, Star Fox Command, and Phantom Hourglass.

Oh and no Pokemon. I'm not much of a fan anymore. :(

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin and/or Yoshi's Island DS

One of the Final Fantasy's. I heard great things about them. Even go for the Advance ones that are Final Fantasy.

I might consider it.

How much is it?

I second that. Although I borrowed it from a friend, it was and still is a great game. Also look for the second one that is coming out, or is out.

I'll look into all the games so far.

Thanks for the suggestions. ;D

A little bit out of my price range at the moment.  :-\

...Try Professor Layton and the Curious Village if you already haven't...
...I've never played one but I heard it was a great time gobbler...

I looked at some videos of Advance Wars.
I'm not sure I'd like it and I don't want to take a chance on purchasing a game that I might not like when I have a 3 hour car trip and a 6 hour plane ride coming up.  :-\

I'm going to visit my brother and he has both of these games, so I'll probably try them out over there.

I probably seem pretty pick right now.  :-\

Hmmm. The Phoenix Wright games are pretty time consuming, but they're not right for everyone. Professor Layton is a great game, although I never played it, my friends have and they say it's great. Custom Robo Arena is pretty good, it has good story line and it has tons of customization which will keep you playing until you get all the parts and find the perfect combination. New Super Mario Brothers is pretty good, but it's more of a pick up and play game, the type you play in five minute spurts, not for a long time. Instead of Guitar Hero On Tour, if your looking for a rhythm game, pick up Elite Beat Agents, I personally don't like rhythm games, but when I played it, I liked it. Super Mario 64 DS is a good game, especially if you have the original. It has superior graphics and boasts 30 new stars and 3 new playable characters.

I bolded the games I own.

I completely forgot about Custom Robo Arena! I'll have to look into that, as well as your other suggestions.

I rented the one on the GameCube and I loved it! I beat the game before my rental was done.
Is Arena similar?

To tell you the truth, I hardly remember the story.

Something was stolen from some museum and I ended up in some freaky dimension.
This is the right game, right? XD
