i just extracted maps & scenes from Half-Life 2 into my Portal folder, booted up portal, loaded the intro map of half-life 2 and gave myself all of the weapons (so I could get the portal gun :P)

I also now don't take fall damage... ever, and regererate health at an incredibly fast rate.

but at the same time, it glitches easily.  at the train near the start, I could hardly go through portals at all, and when I tried ones on the wall, I would fall into the ground.

and the game keeps freezing when I try to exit the storage bin at the end of that area (right before the first zombie encounter).
