Can't wait for the new XBLA Galaga game.

I'm surprised that they didn't show a 360 motion controller.

Anyway, I'll be doing a similar summary for Nintendo tomorrow.

Send it to me, I'm going to Pennsylvania tomorrow.

You obviously didnt listen to what I said "Mario 64 was meant to be copied"
how was it MEANT to be copied? ppl just copied it because no thought had to be put into it X_X;;
"Make a jumping collect-a-thon woo!" At least Sonic never fell into that bottomless pit of annoyance...
It was created to show what you can do in a 3D world, and companies took it and created their games using the same control basis

Mario 64 was like the prototype for all 3D platformers to come after it.

you mean blatantly rip it off? Like Digimon was to Pokemon?
At least we're FINALLY getting away from it. That was horrible during the late 90's...EVERY action game was a freakin collect-a-thon...

And wow this one deuchbag is being really pathetic on IGN in the FFXIII article. "360 dominates all yo! 6 Billion in profits, Nintendo and Sony can't keep up! Microsoft owns gaming!"
Wow, there are so many fallacy's in this quote it's insane.
1. Microsoft has YET to make a profit on the 360. In fact, the red rings of death have eliminated that hope for the near future.
2. Nintendo is currently #1 in terms of hardware...look at the numbers idiot. Microsoft is technically #3 (If you include PSP sales for Sony, #2 without PSP sales)
3. Also, Microsoft owns jack poop in gaming. The 360 is part of Microsoft's stock, so the only thing in gaming they "own" is Rare and Bungie...less than 3% of the gaming industry in terms of total money earned.

This isn't 360 bashing I just hate this particular jerk spamming his idiocy.

Tupin

I've actually heard that Microsoft lost so much money on the Xbox and Xbox 360 that they aren't going to make a system next generation.

No, they are....the 360 is still very popular, they just won't make a profit off of it due to the RROD. Which means Xbox3 is going to be EXPENSIVE

FF XIII on 360?
Jeebus apparently it isn't that big a game after all X_X;;
Meh, still got LittleBig Planet and God of War XD
Everything else I really couldn't care less about.
Portal Still Alive is going to be on the PS3 as well (well, why wouldn't it X_X;;)
Never cared for Banjo-Kazooie (terrible ripoff of Mario 64 IMO)
Also, never cared much for Guitar Hero. It's fun but I don't care about every freakin version out there...

You're going to say "No, it's just some maps, poopty ones at that" when Portal is XBLA exclusive.

Terrible?  It had more unlockables, and potentially had SnS.  Banjo had more moves than Mario.  The egg shooting aspect also added to the gameplay, along with Mumbo's transformations.

If there is one thing that the FFXIII move showed...NOTHING remains exclusive unless it is OWNED by the system manufacturer. It's going to be the PS3 sooner or later, we all know it.

Again, COLLECT-A-THON. You can give SuperMan64 a whole lot better moves and it still won't change the fact it was a horrible game. Same goes for Banjo-Kazooie (cept the horrible part. Just meh for me but I hate all the "greatness" it gets)

I wonder how Japan feels about FF XIII on 360, and Leggy: This user is currently ignored.

They don't care...no one has a 360 over there. If they have either system, its the PS3 and pretty much just that. They've got a ton of Wii's and DS's, and pretty much only PS3's. Microsoft releases nothing over there due to lack of popularity.

is it coming out for both 360 and PS3? I thought Japan loved FF

Tupin

Hey, at least they are trying to spice up Banjo Kazooie a little more by letting you make vehicles.

It looks like an interesting mechanic.

Oh, and the Japanese are very hesitant to purchase any Western made game because they see them as all the same.

YES it's on both (thanks for paying attention).
They don't care for the 360...so pretty much 100% of FF sales in Japan will be for the PS3 cuz no 1 owns a 360 there.
Going to dinner be back later
