Animal Crossing: City Folk announced for a 2008 release.

Yes, this game not only has a normal town/village, but also a city where you can do many different things.

More excitingly, a peripheral called WiiSpeak isn't a headset, but a microphone that goes on top of the sensor bar that allows you to speak to the person you are playing with.

I never expected Animal Crossing to ever have a city. What about you?

I don't think I'll really like the WiiSpeak microphone.
1. It wouldn't seem right. People could say anything. It would just feel weird. It'd be like Halo's online, but mixed with AC. :D
2. Everyone in the same room as me would here what they're saying. So if they say something bad and my mom or dad comes in...ya... :P

i will get it because i wont have to scream. They will design it so it will be sensetive to voices only. They had a long time to design it too. Thing of it like how an Ipod's touch circle thing is only sensetive to skin
