I'm really interested in The Conduit, being developed by High Voltage Software. HVS is at E3, with playable demos of The Conduit. I've got a video from E3 of a dev walkthrough of The Conduit:

Also, later today, RMC of GoNintendo will have his impressions put up on the site. I figured some of you guys are interested in this game, so here you go. Feel free to post anything you can find.

Tupin

Can't wait for those impressions.

Looks pretty good. But we need to see a more intense section, yeah. That is likely at the beginning when all shooters are in their tutorial section.

Time to preorder this as soon as possible.

"One publisher they approached outright told them that they didn?t understand why High Voltage was making the game. They thought the project was great, but had no idea who they were trying to sell to. After saying that, the publishers said that they wanted to turn the game into a $20 project, and crap it out for a holiday release. Yes, the publisher really said ?crap it out?."

Who wants to bet that that publisher was Ubisoft?

They are obviously trying to sell it to the people who own a Wii but don't like all of the casual stuff on the console.

My bet is Ubisoft, Atari, or THQ. I wish HVS would have told us who it was. Though if it was Ubi, thankfully it didn't happen to No More Heroes  ;D

I'm just glad they turned them down.

Ubisoft can't actually MAKE good games on Nintendo systems, they just publish them. That reaction surprised me.

EA or Nintendo would be their best choice. Both will let them do what they want, EA has their own online system, and having it published by Nintendo would help it sell.

I'd love to see TC use EA's online system. MoHH2 is awesome. Add voice chat and it will be the most badass online Wii game ever.

EA would be the best, but even with FCs, the online will be awesome because HVS is insisting on having voice chat.

I'm guessing that they could use the WiiSpeak and have support for third party microphones.

I can't see anyone else other than EA or Nintendo being interested in it. If it's published by EA, I don't know if Nintendo plans to let third parties use the WiiSpeak. But they'll find some way to make voice chat possible, even if it means packing the game with a headset.

i honestly dont think there will be a 3rd part headset, Nintendo might not lt them make it. At least we have voice chat though, and it probably works better than you think. You never saw it in action so quit assuming, please.

And I salute these guys. They are going to transform the system!

Mystic

I doubt TC will use FCs though. Especially if done with EA.

WiiSpeak won't work well, because sounds from the TV, and whatever goes on in the room will get in the way. At E3 they didn't let people use WS because of the sounds interfering.

There is going to be a headset made by a third party.

Nintendo opened the floodgates by making the Wii microphone compatible. Mark my words, a week after WiiSpeak comes out, Nyko will announce a Wii Headset.
