What...

My connection was running fine, but now it just went down in the dirt... Help?  :|
Running fine after or before the port forwarding?
Remember, just because you have good connection doesn't mean that your opponent does.

"The Golden Rule"

Good Connection + Bad Connection = Bad Connection

It's been happening with all the matches, and everyone is saying the lag is me... Meh.

You didn't answer my question.
Before or after?

It might just be that you have bad connection, and unless you want to change ISP's there isn't much you can do.

Woops, sorry... After.

And I think it might be because my sister streams Korean dramas...

That would be a big part of it. D:

Hrrm... could you be a bit more spesific at some times?

When I enter the IP after the port forwarding, I get an error that says "Address is not part of the Private Subnet"

Any ideas?

Good guide though.

I wish Verizon's routers gave me more options. =\

Make sure you don;t alter the IP address to much, but if you still have problem PortForward.com has the in depth guides I couldn't describe here/

I don't understand a word you said.
Hector I love you and I'm very computer illiterate. Please, when you re-make this, make it idiot proof for me and I will love you longer. PLEASE!

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

HTA!

Alright, new and shiny guide is up.
I'm going to distribute this over a few sites, but I'll be sure to get you guys questions. :)

Magnum

Just as I thought. I suck.

I downloaded the Speed test thing but I don't see where it says the MS Ping when I'm done scanning.

I've got 0% on the second one so I'm good.

And on step 3 I have another problem. I'm typing in the IP from when I did the IP config scan in the address bar and it won't load a page.
And I haven't moved onto Step 4 because I don't have 2 of the first 3 done.

Help please?

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

HTA!

Would be helpful to know what kind of router you have.
Doing the ping test in the command prompt will give you MS ping as well.

Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router
1.4 GHz
and that is hooked up to...
Terayon TJ 715

I can't get my cable cord straight into the Linksys which is my wireless router.

Oh Vesperia, never change... never change

HTA!

The modem (the Terayon) should be hooked into the wall.
A cable runs from the Modem to the Router.
Correct?

Now, you find the IP address from the Ipconfig screen (notice, it can be the first IP address or the default gateway, which is sometimes the maintenance IP address).

Just type it in, no www or anything like that.
Tell me what does come up if it still doesn't work.

Yes that's how it's set up.
And it was the Default Gateway. I'm getting the password and username right now.
Ha ha. My router had no Username.

Well I still didn't get step 1 but I'm going to step 5. I'll edit this post if I have any more trouble. Thanks

EDIT: Is this right?

HTA!

No, make all the IP addresses the same.
Then your good on the router side of things.

Magnum

:( It won't connect to the internet at all now. Error code 52131
I changed all the IP address' to the same one and I put that into the Wii and I put my correct Subnet and Default but it won't go through.
Why did Nintendo make this so complicated?
