When the second half is half of the first half, you're left with half of a half also called a quarter.

Buy some property, build a house with a 10 car carage and put the rest in savings. There might not be much left after that though...

That can be done for a million in our area but it won't last for long. Property prices are creeping up here because of the wine industry.
