Wow, 2008 looks like its gonna suck for hardcore games, Wii Sports Resort and Wii Music? The only good release is Animal crossing for wii, oh and GTA is coming to the DS. http://youtube.com/watch?v=7sMf04_zVQA

We all already know...

I'm only interested in Animal Crossing and Wii Sports Resort.

I'll have to see how the GTA on DS turns out.

anyone else getting sick of people saying this?

Playat

Yeah it doesn't look good for nintendo. Did they announce that a new Zelda, Mario, and Pikmin was in progress?

I wish they were working on a Wii hardrive. Thats probably what they really need

They did announce Pikmin. Not much about it but the direct statement was "We are making Pikmin".
And face it, Nintendo now knows that they can get away with calling games like "Wii Sports", "Animal Crossing" and "Pikmin" as "Hardcore Nintendo" games now. I think they're failing to care about the real hardcore gamers that have been around for years and are only focusing on getting new audiences.

However E3 is only one event, I wouldn't be disappointed just because they didn't announce anything really interesting there.
Wait for a while, they'll announce something that will interest the hardcore gamers soon. You can't expect them to be amazing every year, maybe next E3 they'll blow us away like they did last year and the year before.

Miyamoto said they were working on a storage solution.

Maybe they could make some kind of an add-on hardrive for the wii

Anyway its good to hear that they're working on that. It could open some interesting stuff in the future

2008 is already not sucking for hardcore gamers. We already got Smash Bros :O

But yeah, I like Animal Crossing, but I want Pikmin more.

How much ya wanna bet it's gonna be this:
"WiiStorage....get an extra 10MB for your wii for the "small" amount of $20!"

Nah, it would be like 1-2GB for $30/$40.

Oh, and they would announce that all Wiis made after that would have 10GB built in, but they wouldn't sell the drives separately.

Nintendo's isn't THAT stupid.

It's not worth it to make a 10MB external drive anymore, it would cost more to make than what you could sell it for.
