Cool, I am going to buy 4 new Sonic games this year (unless this new one comes out 2009)

Sonic Unleashed (360)
Sonic unleashed (Wii)
Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (DS)
and Sonic and the Black Knight (Wii)

Why SU for both systems? o.o
Because the level design for each of them is comepletely different. It will be like having 2 different games.

And I am expecting this Knight game to be made by a different company than Dimps, Sonic Team, or Bioware (I think it was). I am guessing the other Sonic team is developing this own, so dont say slow down if they have 4 different companies making 4 different games.
Question to everyone: if Square-Enix makes that new game, will you buy it?
Hell no. Square Enix would turn the game into a gay anime style game with more cutscenes than gameplay
Didn't Sonic 06 had many cutscenes after every level? ::)
Notice: Almost everyone hated that game.

Uh...what?

The early and very recent Final Fantasies(XII comes to mind)seem far from anime style, and actually have good gameplay.

Also, it's impossible for Sonic to become any gayer than it already is.

Well, he could have another human love interest.

Ok, this game is the sequel to Sonic and the Secret Rings:

I dont think it has anything to do with sword fighting, but instead as a power to use like speed break and time break. So please stop assuming Sonic will be turned into a sword fighting game, speed will always be a main focus of Sonic.

Then failure is ensured.

PsychoYoshi

A PLANET WHERE CLOUD EVOLVED FROM HEDGEHOGS? IT'S A MADHOUSE! A MADHOUSE!

Also, the Wii is sucking more and more by the day. Nintendo better bring out a AAA title soon, or I'm selling mine.

Just get third party games like No More Heroes and The Conduit when it comes out.

Plus, they are making Pikmin 3 and I'm assuming F-Zero Wii.

It's a sequel to Secret Rings, right? Now it is guaranteed to suck.

"Transporting Sonic back to an Arthurian medieval world, it arms Sonic with a sword to tackle his foes. "

Sounds like he'll use the sword for combat.

I disliked Secret Rings. Personally, I wasn't too big of a fan of the on-rails gameplay...and this, being a sequel, will probably bring that back.

Don't care.

Quoteand I'm assuming F-Zero Wii.
Still don't care.

Psilocybin

I agree with PY.
One or two games isn't enough for me to keep the darn thing.
I'd rather sell it and get a 360 or pc parts.

Because Nintendo's games don't appeal to them anymore.
