Do You Think Silver The Hedgehog Will Return?

Silver is just one of the group now pretty much. I think he'll appear in later games a bit, maybe as playable maybe not. If anything has NPCs through the levels like Shadow the Hedgehog did, he'd likely be one of those NPCs.

He's playable in Sonic Rivals 1 and 2 and Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity.

Ok, where? If you are going to make a post like that, you need proof or nobody will believe you. And I said in some fashion, not necessarily story or gameplay. There is a 90% chance of a place to unlock random things (bgm, artwork, ect.) and he will have artwork in there from an old game. That counts as in some fashion. pwnt.

not really... just more characters that Sega pulled out of thier ass....
the only one I think is slightly more popular, is amy, since she is a pretty old character in the series

I just got my magazine today! (on the 26th, 4 days early) and it had pics of the game and told everything about it. It sounds and looks really awesome, its the linear thing again, but they took everything people didnt like in Sonic and the Secret Rings and made it what they did want:

-No tilt controls, the stick is your steering and your sword is your remote

-A crap load of branching paths instead of none at all

-The option (optional) to play as other characters, each with their own weapon (Knuckles holds a sword in each hand)

-Actual normal multiplayer, instead of party

-Shinier graphics

-Skill system is built so that you will actually use the other Skill Rings

-Over 100 weapons and items to equip Sonic

-Speed is still main focus of the game, but 5% of the game involves swordplay

-Level system is replaced by Kinghtly Hood rank. You start as a nave, and doing good deeds (will explain next) will result in your rank going up (bad deeds make it go down).

-Citizens of the towns have been added when taking alternate routes. You can help them, or hurt them. Helping them makes your rank go up faster.

-No more soul gauge, but instead elemental powers that activate when getting something. There are supposed to be a bunch, but it only told about 2:

Red is a thing that they described as "If an animorphic blue hedgehog could ever be bad-ass, this would be it" where you take your sword and combo attack a bunch of enemies in a row, and after a combo attacking a certain amount, you get a sound barrier shattering boost once you land.

Yellow is your basic "spped break" boost.

I honestly think that this game will be really good, for Sonic and the Secret Rings wa also good, and this takes all the bad parts and fixes them.

As long as over 90% of it is old Sonic gameplay I suppose I could deal with it. It still makes me wonder why they couldn't have done a new franchise about swordfighting for Wii instead of pushing it on Sonic. I mean what's next? Sonic the Cakemaker? X_X;;
I suppose I may give it a try...depending on how the videos and game reviewers handle it.
