Do You Think Silver The Hedgehog Will Return?

Do you think he can/will return? I mean he's in the future now. Iblis is gone and dead. Would Silver ever have a reason to return? I mean I guess he could return as a filler character in some games (like party mode in SatSR), but could he in any other game?

Maybe he could be one of King Arthur's knights or something in S&tBK.

I don't see how else he could fit... unless they just felt like making a time machine :P

I was kind of thinking about that, and my answer is yes.

Think about it. He was introduced into the series in almost the same way as Shadow (started in anniversary game, mistaken for Sonic by Amy, wanted to destroy Sonic at first) and Shadow is in just about every game in the series now. I am posetive he will be in Unleashed in some fashion, and he will likely get his own game explaining his past, which is also similar to Shadow's (shrouded in mystery).

But Shadow didn't come from the future. He was created to protect some chick and failed, trapped in some underground place for a long time. Died. Eggman made like 9,000 clones of Shadow. One of them gets in a crappy story with guns.
Silver was born in the future and went to the past with Mephiles to destroy "the Iblis Trigger." He tries to kill Sonic. He befriends Sonic. He goes back to the future and destroys Iblis.
So why would he come back?

He could come back. I'm not saying he will, and unless they do a total overhaul on his voice (like make him older or something), I hope he won't return. However, he easily could: there could be a new threat he's sent back to stop, Sonic and friends could go to the future in one game and meet him, etc.

Please no...he was annoying and didn't bring anything of real interest to the game. If the physiscs engine wasn't so messed up I guess maybe but for now NO.

Ok, where? If you are going to make a post like that, you need proof or nobody will believe you. And I said in some fashion, not necessarily story or gameplay. There is a 90% chance of a place to unlock random things (bgm, artwork, ect.) and he will have artwork in there from an old game. That counts as in some fashion. pwnt.

Why won't he? Simple...because he has no reason to be there unless there is some kind of minigame section.
