Miyamoto figured he would go around and look at a few of the other companies booths, so he decided to go to Microsoft's.

Here's him being greeted. The good part is up next.

Miyamoto: Hey, what's on that screen over there? It looks like Miis.

This is the part where they show Microsoft's new avatars to Miyamoto.

One can only wonder what was going through his mind at that point. He even said that Microsoft basically stole his idea of avatars in the way he envisioned Miis, so I guess he can't be too pleased.

That second picture is just begging to be Photoshopped/captioned, btw.  :D

I don't own photoshop, but it looks like the guy in vertical stripes in the 2nd picture is approaching Miyamoto for a rap battle.
