The islands are the hardest to infect...

You want to make your disease deadly yet unnoticeable and able to infect water supplies, that way you can infect all the parts before they close themselves off.

I started in South America once and infected every region relatively fast, eventually having every single person in the world infected and not a single person dead. I gave up then because evolution points would take numerous hours to get enough of at the rate I was getting them.

Except it's really not AIDS at all. "Sexual transmission" is not one of the things you can upgrade for methods of contracting.

I always assumed how that was the only way for the disease to spread before you chose waterborne or airborne.

I dont like this game. Its generally dark and depressing if you think about it, even though its meant for entertainment purposes

mine started in north africa and got to japan almost right away (mice & insects were my first method of spread, next came water, which is when areas started getting infected).  the middle-east was second, and south africa took forever to start, but when it did, everything else fell too...

the reason canada, peru & brasil were safe was because I did heat & drug-resistant to everything right away, and didn't bother with cold or wet.  madagascar is an island, so naturally it was impossible to get once they shut their borders.
