Finally traded Manny. For Jason Bay. Bay is having the better season, and has more years in him, but I liked Manny. Your reactions?

I think this was just to get rid of the headache.
The Red Sox aren't any better, and the Dodgers aren't particularly better either.
And the Pirates got a whole lot worse...just before they play the Cubs. Heh heh heh

stats are fairly similar.
Manny is a few points better in BA and OBP, while Bay has 2 more homeruns.
Fairly even trade IMO...at least stats wise.

Wow, I didn't think there would be so many people who care at all.

I personally detest all major "professional" sports and find it the lowest form of entertainment (lower than _____ Movie movies). But that's just me.

Some professional sports I can stand, others, I cannot. I cannot stand baseball.

I'd rather watch people drive in circles for 500 miles than watch 2+ hours of guys just standing around and 20 minutes of people actually moving. probably more like 10 minutes. it's darn boring.

Tennis.
Soccer.

Hell, Golf.

all fun sports to watch, because they're all broad casted well. Baseball is boring as hell 95% of the time.

I can agree on hockey, football, and basketball. Maybe tennis.
But soccer, most of the game they're just running around after the ball. It takes them forever to even score. Plus the lamest plays get put on SportsCenter's top 10. Some guy dove the wrong way but knicked the ball with his foot, and they put that on there... that was just luck.
Golf is pretty boring to watch, to me anyways.
