I HATE rides where you drop really fast. Well this January we are going to Disneyland and California Adventure Park (we have gone there every year for the past 3 years.), and incase you didn't know, they have this ride called the "TOWER OF TERROR". It's SERIOUSLY like an elevator where they strap you in (it's pitch dark) and drop you repetedly. I personally hate dropping. Not really afraid of heights, just hate dropping ;_;. I'm a 15 year old guy who takes karate and works out at the gym I shouldn't be scared!

It's still aways away and I'm nervous >_>. Anyone have any advice? I've gone on it a few times in the past, and this year my best friend will be with me so I don't want to chicken out or anything.

We'll be there for 3 days (and 2 days at universal studios) so it's not like I can miss it.

Every year we go there for a week. Just me, my parents, and usually one friend :).

Hah, yeah I live about thirty minutes away from those parks and go there every once and a while.

And I know what you mean. The kind of your stomach flying upwards in your body feeling? :P That sort of bugs me as well. (Although not as much as it used to.) If you don't want to go on it, just don't. It's only one ride.

But no matter what you have to go on California Screaming.

Best. Ride. Ever.

Advice, advice, ummm........ Don't close your eyes, it will make the ride scarier. That's about all the advice I've got, you will just have to brave through it. Good Luck. :D

I used to be terrified of the "Tower of Terror."
I went on it when I was around 4 so I was traumatized.

Anyway, it's definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. So just go on it and scream at the top of your lungs. It makes the ride that much more fun.  ;)

lol screaming :D. It's true though, it helps take your mind off of it :D. I MIGHT have both of my best friends with me which somehow makes me feel braver :D

OMG the tower of terror is awesome man. I rode it for the first time last year at Disneyworld in Orlando, FL. I was really nevous about it first but it was really cool. My husband and I went to Disneyworld again back in April and rode it again. This time I had my videocamera in hand and recording the whole time. Pretty funny. You can hear my husband say "oh s**t". Make sure you ride haunted mansion for me ok?

...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

The Haunted Mansion is pretty fun. It's not really a ride, you just sit in couldrens and it takes you through the mansion. It doesn't go fast or anything, you just look at stuff, but it is a really good time.

Tower of Terror takes some getting use to. It really is fun though. Dropping 13 stories repeatedly can be a little scary. Just hold on tight, close your eyes real tight and hold your breath each time youre gonna drop. You will be ok dont worry. If your friend makes fun of you hes not really that good of friend.  As for Haunted Mansion its a really fun ride. You see all kinds of ghosts and stuff. At the end you go past these mirrors and you hear the guy over the intercom say beware of hitchhiking ghosts, when you look at the mirror, it looks like there is a ghost in the car with you. Really cool. This ride is at both Disneyland and Disneyworld. I think both of them have the same rides.
