Super Wario Bros - STATUS: Early Engine Test!

Hi, everyone. This is pretty much my first fangame. I got the idea a long time ago, and decided to get Game Maker to try and make it. Every single time I tried, I failed. :P But THIS time, it's turning out pretty well. So far, anyway.

So, what have you got so far?
*Unique physics for Wario and Waluigi.
*Wario's abilities: Bashing and ground pounding.
*Switching between Wario and Waluigi.
*Solid floors.
*Jumpthrough floors.
*Variable jumping.
*Blocks that break when jumping on, bashed into, or ground pounded.
*Goombas that don't hurt you, but can be hurt.

I haven't implemented any of Waluigi's abilities yet. Well, ability. I can only think of throwing bombs so far. :P

Great! What are the controls?
Left & Right Arrow Keys: Move left and right.
Down Arrow Key: Duck/ground pound when in the air/Stop bashing early.
Shift: Jump.
Ctrl: Hold down to run faster.
Z: Bash as Wario. After a few moments you stop bashing on your own, unless you stop early by ducking.
X: Switch characters.

Switching is cooler in the game, don't worry. :P And there aren't any more screenshots of Waluigi, since he doesn't have any special abilities.

I think Wario moves a bit too slow, and jumping feels wrong to me.  Plus, Wario falls faster than he jumps.  The specials feel fine, though.  There such be an easier way to stop the dash attack.

Haven't played Waluigi yet.

Meh, pretty much all Ray said. Also, the characters skid when they change directions, even when they're walking. Are they supposed to do that?

I can speed Wario up. And I could decrease the amount the bash lasts and make him slide less when you duck to stop the bashing.
I think Waluigi is too slippery, so next update he'll be a little easier to control.

Also, LS, they're supposed to skid. But I have no skidding sprite for Wario and Waluigi, so the sprite stays as their running sprite.

EDIT: Also, I fixed a lot of bugs. So when I get some moves for Waluigi, I'll probably post the update. ;)

I dunno if it's different from XP to Vista, but I can click on the zip, then it'll say Extract Files on the left. Or I can right click on it, then click Extract All Files.

Just fixed some glitches, bashing doesn't last as long, and you can stop your bashing by pressing the opposite direction.
