They want to start selling all of their games in cardboard boxes. As in the case you get.

"Developing software and hardware that allows us to save the game so we do not have to leave it on would allow us to turn it off during a meal break or overnight without losing our place. Additionally, come clever programming would allow the console to go into a lower power, standby mode when not in use."

Gee, if only there was some way to save my game using a CARD that has MEMORY on it.  :|

Won't really bother me anyway, Gamestop is on the same street, and the game section at my local Walmart is basically where the employees dump all of the cardboard boxes...

:D

Who actually shops at Wal-Mart for games anymore?

People who live in places that are hundreds of miles from the city who think that it's the only way they can get games.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Meh. I don't go to Walmart for games anyway.
YEAH

Walmart just sucks. They are bad for the economy, they are close to becoming any monopoly, and send job's over seas. I just don't see the beg attraction with walmart in the first place. That said it is a good ideal to lower there carbon foot print.

I'm pretty sure that they're saying they want the ability to save wherever and whenever you want.
Instead of having to find annoying save spots.

Walmart needs to get the times. Or at least do a little bit of research.

I liked how they used "over 9,000 cars" in the article.

I don't see how Save Points can make a game better.

A lot of times, I don't have the time to play games because I know I won't be able to find a save point in time before I have to turn the game off.
