Would you actually participate in this if it happened at your school?

If someone went through with this idea, would you do it?

This is serious.

If you actually knew me in real life (or anyone for that matter), and they set this up, would you actually participate if it cost you only about $3-5?

Here's the idea. This only really works if you're still in High School or college.

You wait until a day where the football team is either not playing or has an away game. You wait until 8-ish or 9-ish, when it gets dark. Turn on two floodlights and light up the goals on either end of the football field that they use for soccer. Have all other lights pretty much off, except maybe some to keep the stands lit up. It needs to be extremely dark on the field.

Get a glow in the dark soccer ball of some kind, possibly some neon shirts or bright neon paint, and get those painted. And play some glow in the dark soccer at night.

That would look really cool, and be very fun to play, I think.

So, would you actually do it?

Doodle

I might do it. Sounds interesting.

But I'm not much of a soccer person, and I'm not very good either.
YEAH

Tupin

I would definitely go SEE it, but I'm not that good of a soccer player.

Macawmoses

Likely, ya. I'm not a big soccer person, but add in music, and some other side entertainment, and I'd be there playing.

Kilroy

I hate sports, but it sounds amusing to watch >_>

Would I pay for it? Maybe if my friends went or if one of them was playing, but not alone.

Depends on who else is going. Soccer is one of the few sports I enjoy playing, so it might be cool.

soccer, lol

I might watch.

I think a glow-in-the-dark tennis match would be a lot cooler. =D

Moriarty

I wouldn't be participating, because I'm the guy who invented glow-in-the-dark sports balls & jerseys and I am going to make a nice little fortune off you kids.

In other news, I might recommend checking out my new product line of glow in the dark books - no pesky, battery-sucking book lights necessary! Just open up and read!

<,< way to steal what me and my buds did... but we did it as football

we went to the school on the night of a new moon (no moon) so it was pitch black

put glowsticks around our wrists and ankles to represent teams

and taped glowsticks all around the football, so it would be glowing

yeah, it was fun.  quite epic actually.

I love soccer too... but we haven't done it with soccer.  I played soccer every week this summer with buds when they came back from college, but they're all gone again now (at least too many so we can't have soccer any more), so I have to wait til winter to play soccer again
