I did, I just need to beat Jynx and Culex.
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

Neerb

Just downloaded it today!   ;D
Though I have too much homework, so I can't play until tomorrow (or later if I have too much homework tomorrow, too).   :-[

Beat everybody, going for runthrough #2.

DBY106698

I beat it a long time ago as I own an actual copy of the game. It was hard as hell to find, but I finally got one.

SkyMyl

Beat it before. On the VC, I'm at Bowsers Keep. I've achieved nearly everything at this point (Minus Culex and the Star Egg.), but beating the end of the game. =P

Doodle

I have the original. Downloading it would be a waste for me.
But I think I beat in once. Smithy was HARD.
YEAH

Kaz

I have it for the SNES Had it since it came out. Beaten it many, many, many times.

Smithy was HARD.

Are you kidding me? You must not level up or get the best armor/weapons or something, because I don't understand how he can be more than "slightly challenging."

The Lazy Shells (both weapon and armor) make those fights easy. The armor one can make the Culex fight go long enough for the enemies to all simply run out of FP.

Then you should beat them both easily. The Safety Ring also helps.

Where do I get the star egg?
I believe:

Get a bunch of cookies, go to Yoster Island, feed the fat baby yoshi. After a while (And I mean a while), you should get the Star Egg. That is if I'm thinking of the right item...

I think you're talking about the Yoshi Aid.  To get the Star Egg, revisit Booster Tower and climb up until you reach Knife Guy and play his game.  I think you need to win Knife Guy's game 12 straight times. If you fail, say after 6 wins he still counts 5 in your favor, so keep going until you have 12 wins. Then, go to Land's End. Down one of the pipes in the area with the save point you should find one of those gold colored Chomps. There is a hidden platform around there, you must jump three times to make it show itself, then go up it and you'll be at Grate Guy's Casino. Talk to Grate Guy over and over and over and...well, you get the point. After a while Grate Guy will challenge you to play Look The Other Way. this time don't worry about winning consecutively, just win 100 times and he'll give you the Star Egg.  Thank you, IGN.
As for me, I beat the game 100% a second time just a few days ago.  I go back and play it every now and then, but I usually don't have the patience to go for 100%,.

I just DL'ed it last night...didn't even know it was out until I randomly checked the VC Channel......... The time it came out I evacuated because of the hurricane.

It sure took Nintendo Long enough................ gosh, I wonder what the problem was?

I probably would of gotten far in the game, but I"m the kind of person who likes to fight the same characters over and over and over again just to have a high level by the time I get to a boss or something, *grins*.

I did twice. I never beat Culex, though. :(
