I just DL'ed it last night...didn't even know it was out until I randomly checked the VC Channel......... The time it came out I evacuated because of the hurricane.

It sure took Nintendo Long enough................ gosh, I wonder what the problem was?

I probably would of gotten far in the game, but I"m the kind of person who likes to fight the same characters over and over and over again just to have a high level by the time I get to a boss or something, *grins*.

If you just use all the stars you find in the game and fight about half of all the enemies you come across, you should be more than leveled up enough for everything, provided you don't suck at the game of course.

First go to a save block, preferably near a starman box. Save then get the star and kill all the enemies you can, the die. You will appear at the save block and the starman will return and you will keep the levels you already gained. Do it over and over for more levels. ;)
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

I coudln't just leave the level where the Starman is, and then come back and do it over again?

I don't like the thought of dieing though...
And if I can remember, all the creatures are goombas right? Just striking down a lot of them with Starman I would get like 1 exp point right? Or would it add up quicker?
The more I hit the more exp points I get....?

The area with the starman has a lot of mouse robots which give you more experiance than goombas.

They don't give you much more. But you get a lot of them.

I wonder if it would work for really far away stars. Like have a save block in the begining of the level and a star near the middle. I should try that actually...

And yes, the more you hit, the more experiance points you get. Though I think it's the equivilant of only fighting ONE of that monster, unlike normal battles, where you might fight 2 or 3.

What about leaving the stage and then coming back?

Nope, the star doesn't come back unless you die, but don't worry, you don't die in any major way. The screen turns black for a second then you appear at your save point.
