Honestly, I think getting something as small as 8 gigs is a bad move. Getting a larger music player, like an 80 gig Zune, seems like a much better value to me in terms of gigs per-dollar. I recently got an 80 gig Zune and I love it. Sometimes the firmware is glitchy and the software you have to install on your computer is intercourse ing awful, but it's easily my favorite music player I've ever had the pleasure of using.

Like, I had to format it 4 times, it glitched a lot toward the end of my usage of it, and once it scared me by doing something akin to being possessed.

Oh, did it put a song into ultra-fastforward for no reason at all? That happened to me last week, and I basically heard the Alvin & the Chipmunks version of Cream.

I have trouble filling up my 2 gig Sansa, how the hell would you need to be carrying 80gigs of media with you?!

How many movies does it take to fill 80gigs?
Even if you had enough to do so in what case do you need to be carrying all of them with you all the time?

Depends on file size, length, and format. I have about 100 movies, 5 or so that are full length, all in .mp4, around 15GB.
I carry them around all the time with me, why get rid of them?

Because we can? With 80GB of free space, you can afford to keep every anime episode or movie on it.

Sure you are getting more gigabytes for a dollar, but you don't need that much space.

To me, too. I hated having to remove stuff from my collection just to fit into a 2GB iPod.
