They're the parents, not you, so you really don't get any say in what they buy him.  Honestly, it's not going to affect him that much, unless he's already a child that's a little intercourse ed up.  Much of the references and "bad" themes of it will more than likely go over his head anyways.

I first started playing GTA when I was 9. During the GTA III big era. Look at me now out of all my old friends from my old niebhorhood I'm the only one that didn't turn out a pot head. But I was the one who was hooked on GTA. I say let the kids get GTA and if you see them just free roam then tell them to stop playing and do the missions. The game has enough down sides in mission to show kids that getting high and shooting people isnt all fun and games.
I don't think that little kid will grow up to shoot people or anything. Come on its just a game! The only kids who are actully do repeat whats in GTA are stupid intercourse s who think "If it happened in a movie its sooooooooooo fuuuuckkkkiiinnng cooooooolllll"
