So I have this bump in my neck

I have a weird lump in the right side of my neck and my ear started hurting a little bit. 2 Nights ago I also got a sore throat and it's starting to hurt to cough and swallow.

I would go to the doctor, but I don't wanna go again and find out it's something small that will go away on it's own (can't even tell you how many times that's happened) and my dad gets mad cuz of the bill.

I've been looking online alot and from the looks of it it's a swollen lymph node or whatever......It also said if it doesn't go away in 5 days to see a doctor, because it could be some kind of infection as well.

I was just glad it wasn't thyroid cancer or something...

Anyway, feel free to discuss this. anyone else ever dealt with this? I've been hearing it's really rare...and I'll post again when it goes away, or if I find out what it really is.

Yeah, swollen lymph nodes suck. They happen if you have a cold or something, I think.

 Some lumps can be serious. So if it doesn't go away see a doctor.
And Thyroid cancer doesn't spread to other organs. It is organ specific.

If you starting getting tired, it could be mono. Try waiting it out a couple days and if your situation hasn't improved, then you can go back to the doctor.

I don't think I could have mono, lol.

I'm positive I don't, actually.

Cuz remembering how it was, it was MUCH worse than this. I felt like crap and i was puking all over the place.


But I did also read that that's a possibility.

As for updates, my sore throat is much better today, still there, but it feels 10 times better...and i think the bump is starting to go away, but i'm not sure.
